Boulder Santa Con 2016!!!!

This is a super fun event...costume and celebratory attitude required. Bring all your friends, or join and make new ones!!

5-7:00pm start at The Rio (mezzanine bar area)
7-8:00pm - Mall shenanigans (carols by Old Chi and again at the courthouse fountain, group photos.)
8-9:00pm - Hotel Boulderado
9-10:00pm - Rueben's Burger Bistro (Santa Happy Hour)
10-10:30pm - Bandshell/Central Park for carols and photo bombs
10:30pm at Tribal Disco 2 @ The Riverside

Santa invites you to the 11th Annual Boulder SantaCon! We will parade around Pearl Street, sing carols, play some reindeer games, and end with an awesome dance party! Start Location: 5:00pm at The Rio

..:: What is SantaCon? ::..

SantaCon is a mass gathering of people dressed in Santa Claus costumes parading publicly on streets and in bars in cities around the world. The focus is on spontaneity and creativity while having a good time and spreading cheer and goodwill.

Sometimes known as Naughty Santas, Cheapsuit Santas, Santarchy, Santapalooza, and Santa Rampage, SantaCon incorporates elements of a flash mob in the context of cheerful bawdy and harmless behavior, the singing of naughty Christmas carols, and the giving of small gifts to strangers.

..:: Santa's Rules ::..

1.) Be Jolly 2.) Holiday apparel is mandatory. A Santa hat is not enough. Get a Santa suit. Buy a Santa suit. Make a Santa suit. Steal a Santa suit. If you don't have any money, be creative. Glue cotton balls to red long johns. Make it purple. Make it pink. Already have a Santa suit? Make a spare so Santa can assimilate strangers. 3.) Twisting the holiday paradigm until it screams for mercy is fun! Getting arrested is not. Santa Claus is friendly, respectful, and cooperative with cops, security guards, park rangers, and store owners. Santa doesn't break any laws!!! The authorities and local businesses usually take Santa's antics in the loving holiday spirit Santa intends, so be nice to them. ..:: The FOUR F#@KS ::..

1.) Don't f#@k with kids.
2.) Don't f#@k with cops.
3.) Don't f#@k with security.
4.) Don't f#@k with SANTA! ..:: Santa's Reminders ::..

1.) Santa does not make children cry (unless they whine, snivel, or otherwise deserve it). Really - If you see kids, give them nice toys, candy, or something pleasant. Feel free to urinate on the parents.

2.) Bring gifts -- NAUGHTY gifts to give grown ups; NICE stuff to give kids. 3.) Watching Santa get drunk and obnoxious is fun. Babysitting Santa while they vomit in an alley is not. 4.) Santa always refers to himself in the third person. e.g. - "Santa loves you!", "Santa needs a beer!", "Santa wants a spanking!" 5.) Memorize these answers to important questions that may arise: * Who's in charge? "Santa"
