Play Attention! Comedy Improv

Play Attention is an embodied group discovery process that weaves sound movement and story-telling. Together we investigate Impulse, Expression, and Impact to gain freedom, ease, and kindness in improvisation. And we do it all with games :)

We are always improvising. In every conversation we have, every choice we make, and every room we enter. I believe that the greatest and most powerful impact we can have is if we are truly guided by a higher intelligence. To access this guidance, we must have a developed understanding of where our impulses are coming from and how to allow them to be expressed without interference from the mind. The counterpart to this is the importance of owning our impact and making repair when necessary.

With Play Attention we create a playful container focusing on these three elements (Impulse, Expression, and Impact) allowing us to hone our intricate choice-making systems naturally so that our improvisation can gain intelligence, a wider range of expression and a greater sense of trust.
If you find yourself getting stuck in your mind, feeling tentative in your expression, or editing yourself in order to look a certain way, Play Attention is for you.
