Cabernet Sauvignon at Ceri's

Ceri is hosting a "Cabernet Sauvignon" wine meetup at his home on Saturday, Feb 7th starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 10 pm! (10pm is a guide, not a hard stop, so if you you are enjoying yourself, feel free to stay). This is a social event, not an official wine tasting, but of course there will be many discussions about the wine.

Please bring a highly rated bottle of cabernet sauvignon (91+pts), note that cabernet blends are a good option.

My place is small, and this is indoors, so I've limited the attendees to 23 people (including guests).

It is potluck. Please bring a healthy-ish potluck dish. NO DESSERTS or "junk" food as Ceri is trying to take care of his svelte figure.

This wine meetup is located at 753 Casper Dr., Lafayette, CO 80026.
Recommendation: Park on Avalon Ave at the end of Casper, and walk down Casper Dr., I'm the first house with the door facing Casper (on the right). There are no houses on the left, there is no parking on Casper Dr. at my house.

It is a Red Wine party, but if you really feel like partying, and don't like Cabernet's you may bring whatever, but I probably will not have an ice bucket for White Wines.

Please remember a few things:

1. Each attendee should bring their own bottle of wine and food, including guests. If you bring a guest, please list that person as a “Plus 1” on your RSVP.
2. If you RSVP that you will attend, please attend. It is unfair to those on the wait list for you to not come and not cancel your place. If you must cancel, please make a best effort to do so at least a day in advance. Corollary: Don't give up to early if you are on the wait list, typically several people drop off in the last couple of days, so its worth while to recheck a few hours before the event. Again, if you do decide to give up and pursue other plans, please cancel, even if its hours from the party and if you are still on the waitlist. Message me on Meetup if you have any difficulties.
3. Bring your own wine glass (I'll have a few available, but not enough for everyone).
4. Ceri’s house is shoe-free, so please remove your shoes at the front door before entering. You are allowed to wear socks or slippers inside.
