This year Kentucky celebrates 100 years of Kentucky State Parks! Let's continue the celebration with a 4.5-mile hike on the Blue Bend Loop at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park and an optional **1.5-mile **in/out hike on the Eagle Falls Trail.
We will begin at the Gatliff Bridge and travel upstream along the river on the Sheltowee Trace, turn uphill into the woods, and end at the trailhead for Eagle Falls. The Eagle Falls Trail heads downstream past the Falls to Eagle Falls as it empties into the mighty Cumberland River.
Bring water, lunch, and snacks for the hike.
Sorry, pets are not allowed in Kentucky nature preserves.
If you wish to stay at the park, there are campsites, cabins, and lodge rooms.
