Through creative games, interactive activities, and practices, the lab creates environments where participants can explore ideas, express themselves, and connect with others in a natural and playful way. Rather than focusing on outcomes, it values process, allowing unexpected moments, experimentation, and shared experiences to emerge.
The lab takes different forms depending on the context: from weekly sessions and social gatherings to workshops, retreats, and collaborations with communities, educators, and organizations.
Across all formats, the core remains the same:
creating spaces where people can meet, think, play, and connect naturally.

Creative Intensive Portuguese Camp

This form is for those interested in joining the Intensive Portuguese Camp organized by What If Creative Lab.
The idea is to create a three-day immersive Portuguese experience through creative activities, games, conversations, challenges, and real-life situations in different locations around Braga.
Our goal is to maximize exposure to Portuguese in a relaxed, social, and enjoyable environment.Here you will see our previous camp in August 2026: ( link comes soon)
Alongside the usual What If Creative Lab approach of learning through creative activities, games, experiences, and interaction, a lovely European Portuguese teacher Sandra Sousa specialized in teaching Portuguese to foreigners will also join us throughout the weekend to answer questions, provide guidance when needed, and offer additional linguistic support.
• August 3 - Day 1: slightly more accessible for A1–A2 levels
• August 4 - Day 2: slightly more oriented towards A2–B1–B2 levels ( focused more for the local culture, history, traditions and Braga)
• August 5 - Day 3: accessible for All levelsAll days: designed to be enjoyable and beneficial for participants of all levels 😊
The final program will be shaped according to participants' interests, needs, and preferences, so your answers will help us design the experience.- Estimated group size: 8–18 participants.
- Participation fee applies. A reduced rate will be available for participants joining both days.
( The fee helps cover preparation, materials, facilitation, and the participation of the Portuguese teacher)
