The lab takes different forms depending on the context: from weekly sessions and social gatherings to workshops, retreats, and collaborations with communities, educators, and organizations.

Speed Game Day For KIDS - Picnic Edition - ENG -
Praia Fluvial de Merelim S. Paulo, R. João Dias Soares 36, 4700-838 Merelim (São Paio), Braga, PTAfter two wonderful Speed Game Days, we're excited to welcome you to our third gathering—this time, outdoors!
As summer slowly begins to wind down and the weather becomes a little more comfortable, we're moving our games into nature. This edition will take place at Praia Fluvial de Merelim, where children will spend the afternoon playing, moving, laughing, and sharing a homemade picnic together.
Just like our previous Speed Game Days, we'll play a wide variety of games**. Some encourage creativity and imagination, others develop teamwork, communication, quick thinking, or simply joyful movement. Since we'll be outdoors, this edition will include even more physical and movement-based games.**
The programme will adapt to the children's energy and participation, and the language of all games will be English.🗓️ Friday, 28 August 2026

We'll meet at the location above. During the week of the event, all registered families will receive an email with the final meeting point, practical information, and a short list of simple things to bring (such as a water bottle).
Merelim is one of Braga's most peaceful riverside areas, with beautiful walking paths and views of the historic Roman bridge. While the children are playing, parents are welcome to enjoy a walk, relax by the river, or join us for the picnic if they wish.🌞 Picnic
A homemade picnic is included for every participating child. We aim to prepare a balanced meal with homemade food, including savoury dishes, carbohydrates, vegetables, fruit, and a small dessert.
Parents who would also like to join the picnic are very welcome.🎈 Contribution

Creative Intensive Portuguese Camp

This form is for those interested in joining the Intensive Portuguese Camp organized by What If Creative Lab.
The idea is to create a three-day immersive Portuguese experience through creative activities, games, conversations, challenges, and real-life situations in different locations around Braga.
Our goal is to maximize exposure to Portuguese in a relaxed, social, and enjoyable environment.Here you will see our previous camp in August 2026: ( link comes soon)
Alongside the usual What If Creative Lab approach of learning through creative activities, games, experiences, and interaction, a lovely European Portuguese teacher Sandra Sousa specialized in teaching Portuguese to foreigners will also join us throughout the weekend to answer questions, provide guidance when needed, and offer additional linguistic support.
• August 3 - Day 1: slightly more accessible for A1–A2 levels
• August 4 - Day 2: slightly more oriented towards A2–B1–B2 levels ( focused more for the local culture, history, traditions and Braga)
• August 5 - Day 3: accessible for All levelsAll days: designed to be enjoyable and beneficial for participants of all levels 😊
The final program will be shaped according to participants' interests, needs, and preferences, so your answers will help us design the experience.- Estimated group size: 8–18 participants.
- Participation fee applies. A reduced rate will be available for participants joining both days.
