Bratislava Discovery: Bunkers
Železničná stanica Bratislava-Petržalka, Bratislava-Petržalka, SKA walkable glimpse into the (not so) recent history of our metropolis.
After gathering, we'll head straight to the corn fields near the Austrian border to hunt for concealed WW2 bunkers and an iron curtain memorial site. Underway, we'll also seek out the now-defunct tracks of the original Viedenská električka tram which until 1935 hauled theatre-goers and coffee lovers all the way to Vienna downtown.
After so much history, it's time for early dinner. After so much history, it's time for early dinner. Fast-forward to a local restaurant in Bratislava's quaint downtown with tasty, reasonably-priced Slovak food and beer.

2-day East Tatra Escape (from Bratislava)
Bratislava Main Station / hlavná stanica, Bratislava, SKThe High Tatra Mountains boast Slovakia's most spectacular views and have been identified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Join us on this easy 2-day escape discovering the roof of Central Europe.
On this adventure, we will head up to Hrebrienok ridge near Stary Smokovec and experience part of the Tatra Magistrala trail between Skalnate Pleso and Studeny potok, a mind-blowing outdoor area in the Eastern part of the Tatras National Park (TANAP). Expect enchanting trails through wild nature of untold beauty.
Price includes organization, train tickets, shared 3 or 4-star accommodation (gender-separated) with buffet dinner and breakfast, local taxes and friendly host. Discounts available for early birds, repeat participants and groups. Optional lunch on day 2 is at your own expense.
