Hey guys,
Our first Portuguese Meetup of this month will be at the same location: Emporio Brazilian Grill. This month, we decided to change the date of our gathering because the Emporio is hosting a very interesting event on the 17th, not on the 3rd, because the 3rd is Good Friday, end some people observe this date as a religious occasion. They will be hosting a *Sertaneja* Music Night - Country Music Night, typical music from the north of Brazil. We will have the opportunity to listen to authentic Brazilian music. The performance will be led by Bruno Santana—that excellent musician we know so well—who will give us the chance to sing and dance.
For those who don't know Emporio Brazilian Grill, it's a super traditional Brazilian restaurant in Houston. This is how real Brazilians eat at home. Emporio makes you feel like you're in Brazil, eating at your family's house: pastéis, pão de queijo, feijoada e farofa, bacalhoada, stroganoff and much more. You'll have the opportunity to drink Guaraná (Brazilian soft drink) and "Caipirinha", the national drink.
We'll have fun with conversations, food and the company of Portuguese speakers, which we promise you won't want to miss!
If you arrive early, the restaurant staff knows the group well and will point everyone in the right direction, just ask for the Portuguese Meetup.
Go ahead and introduce yourself and your friend to them! Share the spirit of our connected global minds!
We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, April 17th.
Cheers!!!!!!
