Returning to our meetings, the first one this month will be a little different. Emporio is hosting a flamenco guitarist for us. Guillermo Serpas is based in Houston and performs at various venues by invitation. In addition to flamenco, he also plays Latin and Brazilian music. It promises to be a fascinating experience.
For those who don't know, Emporio is a very traditional Brazilian restaurant in Houston. It’s the kind of food real Brazilians eat at home. Emporio makes you feel like you’re in Brazil, right in your own family’s home, with dishes like *pastéis*, *pão de queijo* (cheese bread), *feijoada* and *farofa*, *bacalhoada* (salt cod), strogonoff, and much more. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy Guaraná and *Caipirinhas* (Brazil's national drink).
