Oiiiii!!!!
My birthday is this month, and I’d like to celebrate it at our next meetup. We can celebrate together with everyone else who has a birthday in September.
The chosen venue is Empório Brazilian Grill, which will feature a new live musical performance by Andreya Vieira.
For those unfamiliar with the restaurant, Emporio is a traditional Brazilian restaurant in Houston, the kind of place that reflects how real Brazilians eat at home. Empório makes you feel like you’re in Brazil, dining with family: they serve *pastéis* (fried pastries), *pão de queijo* (cheese bread), *feijoada* with *farofa*, *bacalhoada* (codfish stew), stroganoff, and much more. You can accompany your meal with the traditional Guaraná soda or with a caipirinha, the national drink.
If you arrive early, the restaurant staff—who are already familiar with our group, can point out where we are sitting. Just ask for the "Portuguese Meeting."
I promise it will be a fun time, with good food and great company. I guarantee you won't want to miss it!
