Houston's First November Portuguese Meetup: "NOITE DO FORRO"

Hello Everyone!

This month, Empório is bringing back its highly successful "Noite do Forró." Once again, the entertainment will be provided by the fantastic artist Bruno Santana. This excellent musician, whom many of us already know well, will treat us to an evening filled with music perfect for singing and dancing!

For those who aren’t familiar with it yet, Empório is a very traditional Brazilian restaurant in Houston. It’s the perfect place to experience how Brazilians typically eat at home. At Empório, you’ll feel as though you’re back in Brazil, in the home of your own family: enjoy *pastéis*, *pão de queijo* (cheese bread), *feijoada* served with *farofa*, *bacalhoada* (codfish stew), *estrogonofe* (stroganoff), and much more. You can also enjoy a *guaraná* or a *caipirinha*, our national cocktail! Expect a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and the company of other Portuguese speakers, it’s an event you won’t want to miss!

Don’t worry when you arrive; the restaurant staff is familiar with our group and will be happy to point you in the right direction, just ask for the "Brazilian Meetup." Introduce yourself, and feel free to bring a friend!
