SAMBA SOUL @ TRADIÇÃO

Since the Houston Expat Brazilian and Portuguese Speaking Meetup Group is a group made to learn a little about the Brazilian culture and making friends, I would like to invite you to one more event: "Samba Soul live at Tradição".

Three Brazilian Pop Music (MPB) enthusiasts who crossed paths during a small gathering in Houston and decided to make music... thus begins Samba Soul's story.
Comprised of the band members, Cláudia Lima (vocal), João Poupard (vocal and guitar), and Augusto Gaioso (percussion). The band pays tribute from legendary poets to musicians of the new generation of Brazilian Music. On stage, the hits of Bossa Nova that immortalized names such as João Gilberto, are interpreted in a genuinely Brazilian way. The swings and rhythm of Samba are also present, incorporating the charm of Maria Rita into the exhilaration of " Fundo de Quintal".

Doors will open at 9 pm, the band will start performing at 10pm, and of course the very own DJ Batalha will be performing from 1am onwards. So, come out and join us in another great evening of music and dance.

Adult charge: $10 (cash only)
Drink menu: Wide selection of beer and wine, caipirinha, and mixed drinks
Food menu: Brazilian snacks (salgadinhos)
