Anything for Selenas! Enjoy the Hellyer County Park block party at your own pace starting at 6:00 PM. There will be a live DJ dance party, low riders, games and more to get the vibes going before the movie begins at dusk.

After you grab your food and explore the music, we will gather as a group at 7:30 PM to settle in together on the lawn for a screening of the classic "Selena." It’s the perfect summer night to sing along and connect!

🕑 Schedule

• 6:00 PM: Block party starts! Enjoy the live DJ and food trucks at your own pace.
• 7:30 PM: Meet up with the group on the lawn to check in and secure our viewing spot.
• 8:00 PM: Movie starts at sunset!
• 10:45 PM: Event concludes; head back to the paratransit/parking area.

♿️ Accessibility

• Terrain: The path from the main entrance to the Cottonwood Lawn is paved and mostly flat.The lawn viewing area is flat grass.
• Seating: The viewing area is a grass lawn; low-back chairs or blankets are recommended.
• Restrooms: Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located near the visitor center and the playground area.

🚘 Parking & Transit

• Parking: $6 fee per vehicle. There are designated accessible parking spaces near the main entrance.
• Paratransit: Use the address 985 Hellyer Ave for your drop-off and pickup. Have the driver use the Cottonwood Lake drop-off location.

• Comfort: A low-back lawn chair or blanket.
• Essentials: Sun protection (hat/sunscreen), a flashlight for after the movie, and a light jacket.
• Food: Money for food trucks or your own favorite movie snacks!
