Get ready to experience one of the premier outdoor cultural celebrations in the Bay Area! We are heading out to the spectacular 54th Annual Mountain View Art & Wine Festival 2026 to admire beautiful handcrafted items from over 400 talented artists, listen to exceptional live music, and soak in the lively community atmosphere. The festival is completely free to enter. Food, wine, and craft beers are available for individual purchase from various local street vendors throughout the event.

๐Ÿ•‘ Schedule

  • 10:45 AM Meetup and check-in.
  • 11:00 AM The festival officially opens! We will explore the vibrant artist booths along Castro Street at a relaxed, leisurely pace.
  • 1:00 PM Regroup near the Community Stage area to grab food from the gourmet food trucks, sip drinks, and enjoy the live music performances.
  • 2:00 PM Official Meetup ends.
๐Ÿ“ Official Meetup ends with lunch, but the festival goes on until 7:00 PM. You can head home or continue to enjoy the activities at your own pace.

โ™ฟ๏ธ Accessibility

  • Entirely flat, wide, asphalt city streets along Castro Street. Curbs have standard ADA curb cuts, though minor lips or festival utility cable covers may cross parts of the street.
  • Accessible portable restrooms and public facilities are designated on the festival map near major intersections along Castro Street.
  • This is a large, popular festival. Crowds can become dense in the afternoon, which might limit tight turning radiuses. We are arriving early to beat the peak rush!

  • Paratransit: VTA ACCESS and ride-share should direct drivers to and Lot 12, located at 490 Bryant Street between California Street and Mercy Street.
  • Public Transit: Caltrain and VTA Light Rail drop off directly at the Mountain View Transit Center. This is the most seamless, stress-free route to the event.
  • ADA Parking: Free public parking structures feature designated ADA spaces. The Mountain View Civic Center Garage (under the Performing Arts Center at 500 Castro St) can be accessed via Mercy Street. Additional accessible spaces can be found at the Bryant Street structure.
๐Ÿ“ The VTA station is the most reliable "low-stress" arrival point if you want to avoid the struggle of festival-day parking garages.

โœ…๏ธ What to Bring

  • Sun Protection: Wide-brimmed hats, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen for this fully outdoor street venue.
  • Cooling Products: Battery-operated misting fans or cooling neck towels to manage heat sensitivities.
  • Bug Repellent: Insect defense spray or wipes for outdoor comfort.
  • Funding: Cash or card for your optional food, wine, and craft beer purchases.
  • Comfort Items: A light jacket (in case of breezes) and your own water bottle to stay hydrated. Bringing a rollator or scooter is recommended if you require frequent rest.
