Get ready to roll the dice and connect with friends! We are heading to Guildhouse for a fun, relaxed evening of tabletop board games.

Guildhouse is a spacious gaming lounge located in downtown San Jose. They feature a massive library of board games to rent, or you can bring any of your own favorites. The venue has a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space to navigate comfortably. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or just want to hang out and learn a simple new game, there’s a place at the table for everyone!

A variety of craft beers, creative cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the central bar, alongside fast-casual munchies and meals from Japa Curry to eat while we play. Or bring your own!

🕑 Schedule
5:30 PM - Meet at the main entrance, sign in, and choose a table/games.
6:00 PM - Let the games begin!
8:00 PM - Last call for food, final turns, and wrapping up final turns.
8:30 PM - Event concludes... but stay as late as 1am if you want to keep playing!

🍔 Food & Drink

• Guildhouse features a full bar with custom non-alcoholic mocktails, craft cocktails, and local beers.
• For food there’s a casual menu of Japanese rice and curry bowls from local favorite Japa Curry, plus additional snacks.
• It is fully accessible to order from the bar or counters, and tables can easily accommodate drinks and food alongside game boards.

• Smooth, completely flat concrete indoor flooring with wide walkways between tables.
• Fully ADA-accessible main entryways with zero steps.
• Wheelchair-accessible restrooms with spacious clearance.
• Accessible seating featuring tables that easily accommodate wheelchairs.

🚘 Parking & Transit

• VTA ACCESS paratransit can drop off directly at the main entrance curbing on S 1st St.
• Limited metered street parking is available nearby (free with a displayed DP placard).
• Multi-level paid public parking is available next door at the San Jose Convention Center Public Garage, which features standard ADA-accessible van spaces.

• Funds for your own food, drinks, or premium game rentals if desired ($16 for 3 hours).
• Your personal favorite tabletop or card games, though the venue provides a large library.
• Any personal food or specific card-shuffling/holding adaptive devices you like using.
