What we’re about

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an ancient practice that has been around for thousands of years, with deep roots in yogic traditions. It is a very internal experience, a personal journey of self-discovery. Breathwork can provide many benefits for the nervous system as well as anti-inflammatory effects, shifting of internal patterns, self-awareness, deep relaxation.
Breathwork is a mind-expanding experience.

How does it work?

The breathing will be performed laying down or sitting. After a guided meditation you will begin bringing awareness to your breath, deepening the breath, breathing in and out through your mouth at a pace slightly faster than your normal rhythm. You are encouraged to do this type of breathing until your inner wisdom takes over. Going back to the breath whenever you notice your monkey mind.

The decrease in carbon dioxide in your blood stream can cause sensory changes (numbness, tingling, cramping) but I assure you this will go away once normal breathing is resumed.
