What we’re about

Welcome to the Let's Talk About Death and Drink Tea Meetup! This group is for individuals interested in exploring ideas around death, the unknown, fear, caring for the dying, and planning end-of-life wishes. We will also focus on topics like death doula services, hospice, medical aid in dying, communication about death, self-care, psychedelics, breathwork, and living while remembering that we all die.

I aim to bring light to the subject of death while we stay open, receptive, and vulnerable while naturally using curiosity and humor as a healthy way to explore it all. Offering support for caregivers, adult children taking care of aging parents, death doulas, nurses, doctors, and everyone interested in going deeper around the ideas of death. We will create a safe space for sharing experiences while respecting each other's emotional boundaries and privacy.

Additionally, we cover the joy of play, magic in the mundane, living from a place of love, grieving, living a life without fear, and discovering what truly matters to us. Join us and expand your awareness in this unique, supportive, and transformative community.

I'll often pull a card or two from the Death Deck, "which inspires lively conversations and life-changing dialogue." Let us drink nourishing tea as we discuss the one thing that frightens people the most. The idea is, that as we bring the discussion out into the open, the fear of death will become less and less. Let us consciously live as though we are dying, because it's true!
