Bregma Labs is a neurotech startup incubator operated by Araya Inc., supported by Japan's Cabinet Office Moonshot R&D Program. We bring together founders, researchers, and anyone curious about neuroscience-driven technology — brain-computer interfaces, neural decoding, cognitive AI, and beyond.

Neurotech Incubator Info Session

Our goal is to create an environment where researchers and engineers can take their first step toward commercialization without having to leave academia.
This time, we're holding an information session at Nagoya University's Higashiyama Campus to introduce what Bregma Labs does. This session is for anyone who has ever wondered "should this research really just end up as a paper," or who is simply curious about neuroscience and what it could become.
This session is for you if you are:
A student, researcher, or PI with an interest in the brain or neuroscience, in any field; someone who has vaguely wondered whether research like this could become a business; someone curious about what it actually takes to go from research to a real-world product or company; or someone who wants to stay in research while also getting involved as a mentor or advisor to founders in this space.
What we'll cover:
An introduction to the Bregma Labs commercialization program (who it's for, what it covers, participation requirements); how to think about real-world implementation and commercialization of neuroscience research; our domestic and international mentor network and support structure; and Q&A / individual consultations.
