Meet Bridgewater's 3 New B.I.G. Council Members

Talk about starting 2026 with a B.I.G. BANG! It only took 37 years, but Bridgewater Township is finally adding 3 Democratic Council members to its ranks. As many of our Meet Up members are also Bridgewater residents, I'm posting this exciting news and invite here to attend or stream (link below) this historic event.

The B.I.G. team of Andrew Bucko, Ridwana Isla, and Joan Geiger will be sworn in to begin their 4-year terms on Monday, Jan 5th, at 5:30 at the Bridgewater Municipal Building at 100 Commons Way across from the high school. There will be plenty of other Bridgewater democrats in attendance and a private party afterwards. (If you'd like an invite to that too just shoot me a DM.)

Final thoughts - why not consider a New Year's resolution to start attending or streaming your own Township meetings. You'd be surprised at what it takes to run a town!! To actually see the B.I.G. team in action, go to the Bridgewater Township Website for all meeting dates and agendas.

Also of note, the remaining 2 Bridgewater seats will be on the ballot in 2027. It would be great if one of our members consider a run !!
