Meet REBECCA BENNETT in Bridgewater - Democrat for Congress
Details
RSVP here for exact location (free) Rebecca Bennett, a Somerset County resident, is one of 10 democratic candidates running to flip Congressional District 7 (CD-7) by taking over Tom Kean's republican seat. It's important to research (and preferably meet) all the candidates before the Primary Elections on June 2nd (early in-person voting available May 26th - May 31st). Remember you must declare a party affiliation (dem or rep) to vote in the primary. You can always switch back after the election and before the General Election in November.
Rebecca Bennett decided early to serve in the military, and earned an ROTC scholarship to study chemical engineering at Cornell University. After graduating, she decided to fly helicopters for two reasons – she likes to do hard things, and she values team based missions. While she was serving as an experimental test pilot, Rebecca used the GI Bill to get her M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. When it was time to leave active duty, Rebecca and her husband – who is also a Navy veteran – moved to New Jersey. Rebecca chose to work in healthcare, from early-stage startups to Fortune 50 companies, because she wanted to continue mission-driven work to increase access to care, improve patients’ outcomes, and decrease costs for patients.
