Lewes Beacon & Black Cap Loop Hike π₯Ύβ°οΈπ from Lewes Station
Lewes Station, BN7 2UP, Lewes, GBRSVP opens two weeks before at 9am
Join us for a walk from Lewes up to Lewes Beacon, Black Cap trig point, and then back into Lewes for a drink.

We will start at 13:50 from Lewes Railway Station (W3W: ///bedrooms.bonfires.clasps).
Trail: 7.8 miles/12.5 Km should take approx. 3 hours. We will stop once or twice and make sure we take time to enjoy the scenery. For those who have been before this will be a slower hike to enjoy the scenery more.
What to bring: Snacks & Lunch if you want to (vegan only please), drinks (water not vodka), and a waterproof (because this is the UK). This might be a muddy trail so walking boots or old shoes are recommended... your brand new vans will get dirty, so wear shoes you don't mind getting a bit messed up.
Getting there:
Train π 13:26 from Brighton Railway Station will get into Lewes at 13:40. Trains back are every 15-20mins. Cost Β£6.40 without a railcard.Driving π You can park in Lewes, there are multiple public car parks. You might find it easiest to park at the station.
Weather π§ This is the UK. The weather is at best unpredictable so we will check the day before and post whether this can go ahead. Light rain will not stop us and even if it looks ok, bring a waterproof.

Come join us for a coffee, cake, and a catch up at Puck, a chill coffeeshop in seven dials.
Owned and run by artists π©βπ¨ it is full of vinyl πΆ it often has cool art on display πΌ and also serves great coffee βοΈ They have a range of tasty vegan cakes and pastries as well if you want to indilge your sweet tooth π°π₯
We will be there fro 10:30, there are a number of rooms, so have a look around for us. We will likely split into smaller groups too and move around so we can all get to chat.

Easter Monday Hike Ouse valley viaduct & Ardingly reservoir π₯Ύβ°οΈπ
Balcombe station, London Road, Balcombe,, West Sussex RH17 6JQ, GBRSVP opens 2 weeks before at 9am
Join us for a walk from Balcombe station to the Ouse valley viaduct and Ardingly reservoir. Great scenery and a lovely place to walk.

We will start at 12:10am from Balcombe Station, if you are running late please let James know.
Trail: 7.3 miles/11.7 Km should take approx. 3 hours. The trail is a mix of flats and hills, but all in all it is a pretty easy route. We will stop once or twice and make sure we take time to enjoy the scenery.
What to bring: Snacks & Lunch if you want to (vegan only please), drinks (water not vodka), and a waterproof (because this is the UK). This shouldn't be too muddy a trail and walking boots are not a necessity... but your brand new vans will get dirty, so wear shoes you don't mind getting a bit messed up.

Train π 12:28 from Brighton is direct and gets to Balcombe at 12:55. Cost is Β£11.60 return at time of writing.Car π there is a car park at the station. cost looks to be Β£3.30 for the day. If you have space and don't mind giving a lift please say in the comments.
