🎉 We are excited to be running another dance event! it'll be a free lesson, very generously provided by Ceroc Sussex. Ceroc is a partner dance that is a modern fusion of dance styles such as jive, salsa and ballroom, it is easy to learn and can be danced to any type of music.

✨It is an inclusive class where you are not expected to stick to traditional gender roles when leading or following.

💃 No dance experience needed, no need to bring a partner (everyone will rotate around the class, dancing with different people) It is easy for everyone, especially those who believe they have ‘two left feet’. It is for all ages.

This event is for those who haven't done Ceroc before but if anyone has been before and would like to join please let me know and I'll put you on a waitlist ✨

🕺The emphasis is on a fun, accessible night out rather than a strict dance class.

The plan:

🔸6:50pm - meet 10 mins before the start ☺️

🔸7pm – Meet teacher and the crew in a bespoke welcome session for us

-Free Vegan drink (Fentimans Ginger Beer or J20 or Water) You can bring your own drinks to the class but please no alcohol.

-Followed by easy ice-breaker dance move with teacher.

🔸7.30pm – break/freestyle. Join the rest of the dancers for the start of the regular Ceroc Hove Thursday Night. This will be with people ages ranging from 20s - 80s.

🔸8pm - Beginners Class starts.

🔸8:45pm short break/freestyle

🔸9pm beginners class going over the moves we have learnt or intermediate class (in separate rooms)

🔸9:30 Main freestyle. a good time to practice or just mingle.

🔸10:45pm end of the night. No obligation to stay whole night of course.

✨For those who wish to attend some further Ceroc classes. They will have a special offer for half price entry to some follow up classes.✨

Ralli Hall is easy to get to as it's a very short walk from Hove train station and stops on the 7 & 21 bus lines.

RSVP: There are only 20 spaces, so please only RSVP if you can make it. If you are unable to attend after saying you can come, then please change your RSVP and let Kerry know to give others a chance to join. Repeatedly not showing up or cancelling last minute will affect your ability to attend in the future.

For more information, please get in contact with Kerry Smith via Meetup messenger.

All attendees will be expected to adhere to our code of conduct, which can be found here.
