How Innovation Beats Iteration: The Next Generation of NFTs | Sammy Verghese

We're back with our first talk of the year in a new venue!

Join us at Spaces Trafalgar Place (near Brighton train station) from 6pm onwards, as we hear from Sammy Verghese, CEO of Degen Labs, on their new innovation with NFT technology, and how they're using it with real-world physical items.

When the Degen Labs team wanted to launch Degen Distillery - a Web3-inspired Distillery partnered with a multi-billion dollar industry leader - they immediately realised the problem wasn't how to distill the spirits, but how to get global distribution for a physical product whilst giving REAL value and opportunity back to their community. They designed a first-of-its-kind platform and innovative use case for blockchain & NFTs - a technology they are also building as an open & permissionless platform to allow any other company to plug in to.

It's great to hear about amazing things being built right here in Brighton! So come along and join us for an evening on crypto, web3, and NFTs - no matter your previous experience, all are welcome.

HOW TO GET HERE: Come out of the front of the train station and walk down the road that goes down into North Laine, then the entrance is just on the left after you come out from under the bridge.
