## What to Expect at the Family Constellation Workshop

During the workshop, there will be time for four or five participants to take an issue-holder space. This offers an opportunity to explore a personal concern, recurring pattern or ancestral issue with the intention of bringing greater understanding and positive change into your present life.
Family Constellation work can help reveal hidden family dynamics, inherited patterns and burdens that may have been carried through generations. Through the process, you may begin to recognise what belongs to you and what may have been unconsciously carried on behalf of others.
The intention is to support you in releasing burdens you no longer need to carry, finding a more peaceful place within your family system and creating space for greater freedom, clarity and connection in your life.
There will also be space for several participants to take part as representatives within other people’s constellations. Representatives often gain valuable insights into their own hidden family dynamics through the experience of helping someone else.
Sometimes we benefit from bringing our own issue forward, and sometimes we benefit from representing instead. The representative role can offer a gentler, more softly focused way of connecting with patterns in our own family system and may bring unexpected understanding, movement and healing.
You may also choose simply to witness the work. Observing another person’s constellation can be deeply meaningful and may resonate with aspects of your own life.
The workshop will be held in a gentle, supportive and confidential space. No previous experience is necessary, and you will always be invited to participate at a level that feels comfortable for you.
