Are you frustrated by your camera? Do you find the menus and settings confusing? If you’ve bought yourself a camera but never truly got to grips with it, then this is the session for you.
In 60 minutes I’ll explain how to use aperture, shutter speed and ISO creatively through a combination of brief explanation and then practice. You will learn by doing and by taking control of your camera.
I’ll de-mystify the impenetrable menus, icons and settings by cutting to the core of what you need to make great images and letting you know what you can safely ignore.
I promise to end your confusion and frustration.
I will:

  1. Demystify your camera settings;
  2. Teach you how to get the best from your camera quickly;
  3. Give you practical advice and teach you simple techniques to instantly improve the quality of your photographs.

We will look at aperture, shutter speed, ISO and how they affect your image.
It’s easier than you think!
My background is training people quickly and successfully to understand their cameras and use them without confusion. I am fully qualified with a PTTLS Level 4 NCFE to teach adults.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE SESSION?
Bring your camera and any lenses you want to discuss
A tripod is not necessary
A fully-charged battery for your camera
A memory card for your camera
