STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
How people fit into and reflect their environment, rather than isolating one from the other is where the true nature of street photography lies. Here in Brighton we have one of the most vibrant and diverse communities in the country. We also have a range of architecture and landscape to frame those communities that is unparalleled; the sea, the city, the Downs.

ON THE DAY
We will walk around Brighton and Hove, visiting a variety of interesting and offbeat parts of the city where we can practice capturing the essence of what makes Brighton special. We will capture shots that reflect how the people make the city while highlighting the interplay of light, shadow, architecture and individual.
Street photography is a rewarding and infinitely variable style of photography. Because of this, it is also one of the most enjoyable and, due to it’s nature, easy to accommodate in your day-to-day life.
I hope you’ll join me in exploring the streets and sights of Brighton and Hove and expanding your enjoyment of photography.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE DAY?
Bring your camera and any lenses you want to explore
A tripod is not necessary
Two fully-charged batteries for your camera
Two memory cards for your camera
Wear comfortable, robust clothing and footwear

There will be a 45-minute break for lunch.
