BIVS is proud to be hosting our first Fundraising tournament for Trans Pride Brighton!

We are organising a fundraising event to support our local Trans and Non-binary community involvement in our favourite sport! We oppose the political climate that continues to exclude Trans and Non-binary people from sports, impacting our health, and the contribution that everyone gets from wider participation in competitive and social sports.
We also believe that the wider and already diverse volleyball community, especially in Brighton, experiences a great loss by excluding Trans and Non-binary people from a sport funded on cooperation and community, and we believe that as a newly formed club we need to do our small part to contribute to this change.
In the heart of Kemptown, home of the Trans Pride centre, we hope to start the week ahead of the march, protest, and celebration with some fun, playing our favourite sport! We also hope to see you all joining on the street on the 18th!
At the event you will be able to donate to Trans Pride Brighton and Hove centre, as well as giving a small contribution to BIVS, helping us set up in our first season and support our future projects, including a future space for Trans and Non-binary community to play volleyball and push to be included in competitions!
This is our commitment in the long run, and we believe this event can be the first step!
See you all in your Pride colours at the tournament! Music and snacks (VE, GF) will be provided, you bring the energy!

Parking is NOT free on the road at the time of the event, plenty of buses stop nearby!
