All being well we will be meeting upstairs at Freemasons on Western Road, near Palmeira Square.

We have gone back to paying subs for Meetup fees. It's £1 per person per meeting, you can pay in cash on the night or by PayPal to paypal.me/BrightonBookClub - please do not select the 'goods and services' option (or do select the 'friends and family' option), to avoid incurring PayPal fees.

We will be refreshing the longlist at this meeting so please come prepared with your choice for the list. The criteria are, roughly: 1) no longer than about 400 pages; 2) widely available in paperback (and, ideally, in e-book format) for less than about £10); 3) not a second or later book in a series (first in a series is fine); 4) if a translation, ideally one with a standard English edition so that we read the same text.
