This meeting has some cushion built in at the beginning and the end so that folks can mingle and chat casually a bit if they wish. If you want to show up for the presentation and facilitated discussion portion of the meeting only, that is fine.

Bryan Tunnell will lead a presentation and facilitated discussion inspired by the book The Pursuit of Happiness in the Founding Era: An Intellectual History by Carli N. Conklin. You do not need to have read the book to follow along and participate in the group.
We will discuss common mindsets found in the era of the American Revolution having to do with natural law and happiness. We also will talk about whether these ways of thinking remain relevant in current times.

Agenda:
5:30-6:00 pm casual chat
6:00-7:30 pm presentation and facilitated discussion
7:30-8:00 pm casual chat

We will be in the Community Room.
