Meet up at a local coffee shop to read.
Like reading quietly next to others so you don’t end up accidentally doomscrolling? Do you like the idea of talking about what you’re reading with others but really don’t want the commitment of a book club, where the text is prescribed and the deadlines are just another thing to get done? Then you’re in luck because I too hate book clubs but still love reading in community.
Always open to changing locations if we want to try out another cafe.
How to prepare:
Bring a book and money for a drink. :) it’s not hard I promise. This is literally so chill, we just read over coffee.
