No assigned books. No pressure to "analyze" or "discuss." Just a cozy corner where you can talk about what you're reading, hear what others are loving, and let good conversation take it from there.
If nonfiction is your thing and you believe a good chat can be just as nourishing as a good book, you'll feel right at home here. We're proud to be Oakville's only nonfiction book club, and we've had members join us from as far as Etobicoke, Hamilton, Milton, Mississauga, and Burlington!

4:30–6:00 PM (90 minutes)
Come 10 minutes early, grab a coffee or tea, and ease into some small talk. Our book chat kicks off right at 4:30, sharp! Don't miss it.
Cost?
First time joining us? It's just $5 cash at the door, anything more than that is totally optional and up to you!
Once you've come by and felt the vibe, you're welcome to join as a member with a bi-yearly or yearly rate (details will follow in the new year!) for a bit of savings if this becomes a regular thing for you!
NOTE: If you RSVP and aren't able to make it without letting us know, we may not be able to save you a spot at the next meetup. This group works best when everyone shows up as considerate, thoughtful adults who respect one another's time, thanks so much for understanding!

How to join
The $5 helps cover the venue booking and all the behind-the-scenes work. Anything more is totally up to you, and always appreciated.
To save your spot, please send an e-transfer to chloe0621@gmail.com (Shin Young Park) and RSVP here. You'll need both, and the fee is nonrefundable.
When you send your e-transfer, please include your name (as it appears on Meetup) in the message so we can match it to your RSVP. Thank you!
