About us
Ever wish you had a good excuse to just read? That's the idea behind BYOB: Silent Club. No assigned reading, no quizzes, no pressure to finish anything. Just grab a drink, maybe say "hi", claim a comfy spot, and read alongside other people. Optional chatting before and after, plus coffee shop ambiance the whole time.
This is for anyone who wants to read more, decompress after work, or enjoy quiet company without the pressure to socialize. This is a Third Space, where you can just be around people.
When you show up, bring a book, grab a drink, and look for that session's signal. There's usually something with a QR code where you'll get club updates, chatroom access, and info on upcoming events. Find a spot and settle in for an hour+ of quiet reading. Afterward, stick around to swap recommendations or chat if you feel like it. Since we usually meet at cafés, it's not completely silent. Expect a low hum of background noise, not library-level quiet.
This is a space for everyone, regardless of background or identity. Bigotry and harassment aren't welcome here. Just bring your book and good vibes.

We'll walk the festival together for a bit, and break for snacks, reading, whatever. No pressure to stick with the group the whole day. Wander off, come back, do your own thing.
