🤿 We came for the rugby. We stayed for the people.
Meet the Brisbane Gauls! We have an established mens and womens team and also play mixed games. Underwater rugby is a team sport played below the surface of a dive pool, scoring goals in baskets on the bottom. Think swimming, teamwork and a whole new dimension of fun! Truly the only 3d sport!
We meet 3 times a week to build skills, play and make friends. We’re a diverse, multilingual bunch of water lovers, from new swimmers to experienced players—some of us even learnt to swim at training!
We socialise, party, camp and attend competitions together aswell.
Bring fins, a mask and snorkel—or borrow ours if you don’t have gear.

Underwater Rugby - Have a go - Queens Cup Event

Queens Cup is back for 2026! 🎉Join us for a social underwater rugby competition open to everyone—even if you’ve never played before!
We’ll split players into small teams for short games on a triangle-shaped court. Expect plenty of laughs and some chaotic fun!

Keep the catch-ups going with a group dinner at BrewDog in Murarrie. Everyone will cover their own food and drinks.
