Better Blazor with Blazing Story & Playwright
by Mariekie Coetzee

Join us in this session where we will explore Blazing Story, a template inspired by Storybook that allows developers to develop Blazor components in isolation.

During the session, we will discuss the use of Playwright for end-to-end testing and explore the integration of an accessibility testing library to ensure that the components comply with the guidelines.

About Mariekie:

Mariekie is a passionate software developer with over 15 years of experience. But let me tell you, her passion for crafting code goes beyond just the years on her resume – she still gets childlike excitement from every aspect of developing apps, from the initial concept to the final deployment.

Outside of the tech world, you'll often find Mariekie embracing the great outdoors. She has a deep love for camping, the feeling of being surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether she is immersed in code or gazing at stars, her excitement for work and the world around her remains constant.

The making of Speedy Sedans (made by teens, played by everyone)
by Andre & Joseph

Join the crowd and dive into the history of Speedy Sedans, our struggles, our errors, our challenges, and our marketing. Speedy Sedans was coded using C# and Unity and designed using Blender to execute the minimal and exclusive 80’s look and feel. Speedy Sedans is an easy to play action game where players tap the screen to navigate a blue sedan through a four laned cityscape.

About Andre:

Andre is a 16-year-old academic student at Bribie Island High School with many passions. These include game development, web development, and playing guitar. Andre has received Platinum academic achievement awards and is a self-taught C# developer and is extremely passionate about developing the Speedy Sedans Project.

About Joseph:

Joseph, a 15-year-old tech wiz and artist, thrives in 10th grade while co-managing the game Speedy Sedans. Balancing art and tech, he excels with Apple devices, Blender, 3D design and animation. Musically inclined, Joseph brings ideas to life through game design and art, with a solid foundation in code ready for further growth.
