This is a free, independent community for Brisbane tradies, trade business owners and the people who run their offices (often a partner or family member) who want to spend fewer evenings on admin. We share practical, no-hype ways AI and automation can take care of the back office: quoting, invoicing, chasing payments, job scheduling, answering calls and enquiries, compliance paperwork, receipts and bookkeeping.
Who it's for:
- Electricians, plumbers, painters, builders, landscapers, cleaners and other trades
- Sole traders and small teams, from one ute to twenty staff
- Office managers, bookkeepers and anyone doing the admin after hours
What we do at our meetups:
- Short, real-world demos: "here's how I set this up and what it saved me"
- Hands-on sessions where you try tools on your own laptop or phone
- Honest discussions about what works, what doesn't, costs, privacy and keeping customer data safe
- Plenty of time to swap tips with other local trade businesses
No tech skills needed and no sales pitches. This group isn't tied to any vendor or product; speakers share experience, not a sales deck. Come along, ask questions and leave with at least one thing you can automate next week.
