Quotes at 9 pm, invoices on Sunday, receipts in the ute? This is a hands-on evening for Brisbane trade businesses to work out, together, which bits of the admin you can hand to AI today and which you shouldn't. You'll leave with at least one thing set up on your own phone.
What we'll do

• 4:45 pm: Arrive, meet other local trade businesses
• 5:00 pm: Round the table: where does your admin time actually go?
• 5:15 pm: Hands-on, on your own phone: turn a voice note into a tidy quote, write a polite payment reminder, summarise a long email thread, build a job checklist. We use free AI assistants you may already have.
• 5:45 pm: Open discussion: what's worth automating and what isn't, costs, privacy and keeping customer data safe
• 6:05 pm: Everyone picks one thing to try next week
• 6:15 pm: Done, home in time for dinner

Who it's for
Sparkies, plumbers, painters, builders, landscapers and every other trade, plus whoever does the office work (often a partner or family member). Sole traders to small crews. No tech skills needed.
What to bring
Your phone (a laptop is optional) and one real admin job you'd love to get rid of, like an old quote or an email you keep putting off. Even better, bring whoever does your books.
