Welcome to the Brisbane Photographic. We are one of the largest Photographers community in Brisbane. Our group welcomes photography enthusiasts and professionals based in and around Brisbane. We aim to inspire you to express your creativity and share your passion for Brisbane through your images. If you are passionate about clicking photographs, we would love to have you in our group.
The heart of Brisbane Photographic is our Facebook Group where you can share your images that showcase Brisbane city and lifestyle. In addition to our online presence, we run events organised through our Meetup Group. These range from large photo-walks where we give you fresh perspectives of known and unknown photographic locations in Brisbane, to small in-person group workshops where commercial photographers share insights on professional photography techniques and styles.
Above all, these meetups are a chance to bring the Brisbane photographic community together, to meet friends, old and new, and of course to get out shooting in a fun, creative, and supportive environment.
Whether or not you are on Facebook or Instagram, whether you are a first-time Meetup person or a frequent flyer to Brisbane, if you have a passion for Photography the events we organise here are for you. Our members come from all backgrounds and skill levels, from those with a camera phone who are just starting out, to some of the top commercial photographers in Brisbane.
SO, WHO SHOULD JOIN?
Photographers no matter how experienced can join. If you got a new camera or phone recently or you are a seasoned pro with years behind the lens, this group is for you. The vision is to bring the Brisbane Photographers community together. You don't have to know the camera world jargon, you don't have to know what an F-Stop is, but you might learn about that when we get together. If you are passionate about clicking photographs, we would love to have you in our group!
