A small, relaxed meetup for people running their own thing, you're freelancing, running a small business, or genuinely working toward your first.

It's the business friends you might be looking for, people you actually click with, who also happen to get the work.

Whether you're solo, building with a partner, or running a small team, freelancers, makers and creatives who actually sell, small business owners, it doesn't matter what you do or how far along you are.

What we share is the choice: we chose not to walk the traditional path to build something of our own, we care about it, and we're putting ourselves on the line for it.

Running your own thing is uncertain, isolating, and it's easy to slip into doubts and lose your motivation. The people around you are mostly on the traditional path; they don't really understand the experience you're going through.

This is a room for those who also went their own way.

A couple of hours around people doing the same hard thing, who get it, and who are still fired up about it, and you stop feeling like the odd one out.

Some weeks that means sharing a win you're proud of, some weeks it means showing up when it's been brutal and you're still going.

It's a table of people who deal in the real stuff — the things there's no one else in your life to ask: is this pricing mad, which accountant, what tool actually works, is this flop normal, what do you guys do about VAT?! how do I get out of my own head on this.

The conversations only someone actually running a thing can have.

This isn't a networking event, a pitch night, or a place for big-vision talk about ventures that don't exist yet.

No name badges, (yet) no pitching, and no "working the room." We're here to build and share, not to sell to each other.
