Bristol Machine Learning Workshop - MCP Interfaces
Details
Fortnightly Meetup for hands-on Machine Learning experience and problem solving. Each session we try and discuss a topic, and generate a proof of concept, taking the opportunity to learn best-practices, tools and implementation skills together. Whether you’re an experienced Data Science/Machine Learning professional or just interested to see what machine learning can do, this is an opportunity to experiment with new methods and techniques.
Note this is at the same location, but starts slightly later, than the AI Automations Meetup. Make your choice of which group you want to join and avoid attending the wrong one.
MCP Tool design.
Given an API description, what are the best practices for turning it into an MCP interface?
Working with a practical example we’ll discuss both the practicalities in terms of describing use-cases, dealing with data formats, reading state and how to define success when dealing with non-deterministic machines.
Bring your laptop and get ready to code!
We recommend having python and uv installed, and the GitHub repo downloaded if you want to code along, but we are very happy to help on the day if you need it.
Look forward to seeing you there!
