This group aims to create a community of Bristol wild plant + nature lovers who share knowledge on the traditional uses of local edible plants and herbal medicine.
We meet in parks and open spaces for relaxed walks across Bristol. All levels welcome, no experience necessary!

Bristol Walk Fest x Summertime Begins x Wild Plants of St George's Park
Bake Box, St George's Park Cafe, St George Park, Bristol BS5 9FP, BRISTOL, GBWe're excited that for the third year running, we're part of Bristol Walk Fest yay! This year, we're combining our BWF walks with our Meet Up to introduce people to this group!
Tickets for this event are free - but limited on Meet Up, as we've released the others elsewhere for BWF.

As always, this walk is part of a series of 2 x monthly walks we host at low-cost.
Our mission is to remove barriers to wild plant, foraging and medicinal knowledge.
Details:
We'll meet at 6pm at Bake Box cafe in St George's Park and take a stroll round the edges and lakeside to see which wild plants are abundant. We will see the the bursting linden leaves, yarrow and first summer flowers as well as bugs and birdlife. We'll have lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge, recipes and experiences.What to bring:
- everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water, a notepad, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes
- tupperware if you'd like to take home any plants we findTravel: the postcode for the meeting point outside Bake Box cafe, address is St George Park, Bristol BS5 9FP. The number 16, 43, 45 bus stop all go nearby. We will start and end the walk at the Bake Box cafe.
Accessibility:
St George's Park has a mix of grassy and concrete paths, with some hilly sections, not fully suitable for all wheelchair users due to the steep, natural terrain. Printing plants with the sun; walk, cyanotype workshop + BYO picnic
Greenbank cemetery, Greenbank Road, Easton, Bristol., BS5 6HL, GBWelcome to 2026 foraging sessions, to members new and old! You do not need any previous knowledge to join these sessions, everyone is welcome to join and learn from others.
What to expect, what to bring, travel and accessibility information is below.
We'll meet at the main entrance to Greenbank Cemetery, at 141 Greenbank Rd, Greenbank, Bristol BS5 6HL and stroll through the cemetery edges to see the new life emerging between the stones.
What to expect:
12pm - 1.30pm - meet at 141 Greenbank Rd, Greenbank, Bristol BS5 6HL to have a stroll around the cemetery and nearby allotments. We will collect plants, s see the summertime flowers, variety of trees and hopefully some birdlife. We'll have lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge, recipes and experiences.1.30pm - 3pm - group lunch, BYO picnic bits AND an amazing cyanotype workshop, led by the lovely Becca! Learn how to print photos of plants using just the sun rays ๐๐๐ we will provide all materials but maybe bring a bag to take your prints home in
What to bring:
For the stroll through Greenbank Cemetery + workshop
- everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water, a notepad, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes
- a bag or book to take home your print in tact
- tupperware if you'd like to take home any plants we find
For the shared meal at the end
- one portion of something delicious, this will mean enough for everyone when shared. If you're unable to bring some food, you are still very welcome, we will have enough for you!Travel: the number 46, 48x and 24 buses stop nearby, there is free parking at around residential roads and railings along the edge of the cemetery to lock up bikes.
Accessibility: Greenbank Cemetery has a lot of paved pathways, we will stick to these but may veer off onto grass, gravel or smaller dirt pathways. We can always adjust this if need be, so please let us know if you have any access needs and we'll switch up our route if need be.

BS3 Moth Club x Healing Weeds in Manor Woods Valley
Manor Woods Valley entrance, 1 Vale Ln, Bristol BS3 5SA, Bristol, GBWelcome members new and old to 2026 Wednesday sessions.
We're teaming up with Charlie from BS3 Moth club to combine this foraging and Bristol moths learning session.
We'll find out which wild plants are essential for moths and their caterpillar eggs. Let's learn how we can encourage more insects to lay their eggs and thrive in our parks, gardens, balconies and potted plant pots!
Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a collective space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends, sharing thoughts and learning new things.
What to expect:
6pm - meet at Manor Woods entrance, Vale Lane, BS3 5SA (free parking in surrounding residential roads). We will take a stroll round Manor Woods to see the bursting flowers, leaves on trees and learn about bugs and birdlife. We'll have lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge, recipes and experiences.What to bring:
