Stoke Park Estate, woodland, early spring foraging walk

Hey everyone, I'm excited to reignite these regular walks to learn, meet others and restore ourselves outside.

A few of the first sessions will start before 6pm to catch the light, but as the days get longer, we'll start to meet from 6pm onwards.

Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a community space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends and learning new things.

We will go into Stoke Park and walk in a loop back to our starting point. There'll be lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge and recipes. There will be lots of fresh looking buds, unfurling leaves and bare tree silhouettes.

Meeting point: the entrance to Stoke Park by The Vench Adventure Playground, BS7 9TB

Travel: buses 72 and 24 cityline from the centre + 10min walk, there are street lamposts to lock up bikes.

Accessibility: this walk will be slow paced, looking at the plants that are appearing around us, please bring sturdy shoes as the woodland paths can get muddy.

Payments: get in touch if you aren't able to cover the cost of this session, this learning space is open to all, regardless of financial means.
