We're excited that for the third year running, we're part of Bristol Walk Fest yay! This year, we're combining our BWF walks with our Meet Up to introduce people to this group!

Tickets for this event are free - but limited on Meet Up, as we've released the others elsewhere for BWF.

If you're able to make a small donation to support this ongoing work, anything would be greatly appreciated. Click here to make a donation ahead of the session.

As always, this walk is part of a series of 2 x monthly walks we host at low-cost.

Our mission is to remove barriers to wild plant, foraging and medicinal knowledge.

Details:
We'll meet at 6pm at Bake Box cafe in St George's Park and take a stroll round the edges and lakeside to see which wild plants are abundant. We will see the the bursting linden leaves, yarrow and first summer flowers as well as bugs and birdlife. We'll have lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge, recipes and experiences.

What to bring:
- everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water, a notepad, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes
- tupperware if you'd like to take home any plants we find

Travel: the postcode for the meeting point outside Bake Box cafe, address is St George Park, Bristol BS5 9FP. The number 16, 43, 45 bus stop all go nearby. We will start and end the walk at the Bake Box cafe.

Accessibility:
St George's Park has a mix of grassy and concrete paths, with some hilly sections, not fully suitable for all wheelchair users due to the steep, natural terrain. Let us know if you need any additional needs and we can adjust our route accordingly.

Safety and community care: to keep everyone safe, please do not attend if you are actively infectious with a cold, cough or other illness. Bristol Foraging Group is a neurodivergent, trans-inclusive, LGBTQIA+ friendly space in nature, all are welcome.
