Members new and old, always welcome!

Let's learn about what medicinal properties lie within our common kitchen ingredients - and how to make winter medicines with them.

We'll be making a version of the classic winter remedy: HERBAL FIRE CIDER

What to bring:

  • any wild plants you've found that week and want to share about
  • any kitchen herbs (whole is better than powdered: cinnamon sticks, rosemary, sage, cloves, star anise, ginger, tumeric, chilli, garlic etc)
  • notepad if you'd like to take notes or draw
  • a 250-300ml jar to take home the immune remedy we will make together!
    - BYO dish for a shared dinner after making!

What to expect:
6pm - learn about wild medicines, kitchen herbs and how to make our own immune supporting remedy
7pm - collective food feast together: bring your own dish to share, gluten free or vegan if you can (just so we have a spread for as many people as possible.

We'll have lots of opportunity to chat, ask questions, share knowledge, recipes and experiences.

Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a collective space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends, sharing thoughts and learning new things.

Getting there: meet at St Werburgh's Community Centre, Horley Rd, St Werburgh's, Bristol BS2 9TJ. The number 24, 25, 46, 48 and 49 buses all stop nearby. We'll spend this session inside the community centre.
