Bring some festive cheer to your home and join us for a wreath making workshop this November.

We'll be joined by Jenny from Lilac and Mint Flowers in Dorchester who will guide us in this workshop.

We will meet at the entrance to St Anne's House, BS4 4AB (free parking at this amazing community centre) to have a stroll around St Anne's Woods, BS4 4BW and where we will forage greenery for our wreaths.

Then we'll head to back St Anne's house for a communal lunch before being guided through making a festive wreath. You'll take home a gorgeous wreath ready to hang in your house/on your front door!

Open to all, as always, whatever your experience of foraging so far, this is a collective space for people who want to meet for walking together, making new friends, sharing thoughts and learning new things.

What to bring:
- everything you'd need for a comfortable time outside like water, a notepad, comfy clothes and sturdy shoes
- notepad if you'd like to take notes or draw
- secateurs if you have them, so we have a few pairs to use amongst the group
- any bits you'd like to add to your wreath like pine cones or greenery from home
- one portion of something delicious for shared lunch, this will mean enough for everyone when shared. If you're unable to bring some food, you are still very welcome, we will have enough for you!

What to expect:
11:30am-1pm - guided walk through St Anne's Woods to gather greenery for our wreaths and learn about the plants around us
1-2pm - shared lunch at St Anne's House
2-4pm - wreath making

Travel: the postcode for the meeting point outside St Anne's House is BS4 4AB. The number 5 bus travels there from Lawrence Hill Roundabout. We will start and end the walk here and share our lunch here also, in the cafe area.

Accessibility:
St Anne's Woods (outside) - the paths are a mix of gravel and dirt, with some steeper sections, not fully suitable for all wheelchair users due to the steep, natural terrain. Let us know if you need any additional needs and we can adjust our route accordingly.
St Anne's House (inside) - wheelchair-accessible facilities, including 4 designated parking spaces near the entrance, ramp access and automatic doors. More info here.

Safety and community care: to keep everyone safe, please do not attend if you are actively infectious with a cold, cough or other illness. Bristol Foraging Group is a neurodivergent, trans-inclusive, LGBTQIA+ friendly space in nature, all are welcome.

Payment for these sessions goes towards ensuring they can continue at low cost, but if you aren't able to cover this, we have bursary spaces available for you,! Let us know (email maria@healingweeds.co.uk) and say you'd like to join!

Refunds: Swaps preferred over refunds - if you can't make it on the day, you're welcome to exchange your space for another date you can attend in future, just get in touch to swap over.
