Welcome back!

As before, the event will be brought to you by Datacove. We are a Data and Analytics Consultancy Team based in Brighton, with experience in founding many well-attended R & Python events. Plus, home of the EARL Conference! We work across multiple streams - from marketing and customer analytics, to bespoke dashboards, process automation, and training! :)

We will be supported by the generous team at DeskLodge Bristol. Hosted by Abbie Brookes and Jeremy Horne from Datacove.

------ Talk One Information ------
We are thrilled to have Chris Newton, Data Officer at Dogs Trust joining us! Chris began his journey as an Assistant at University of Manchester, followed by becoming a Technical Instructor at UWE Bristol. Later, moving onto the Dogs Trust!

Chris will be discussing “Fun with postcodes in R”. More information coming soon!

------ Talk Two Information ------
The next session will be a Fireside Chat all about marketing measurement, where we’ll dive into the differences between Bayesian Modelling and traditional-style MMMs.

Joining us is Jeremy Horne, Founder of Datacove and winner of Gatwick Diamond Business of the Year 2025, with 20 years’ experience in predictive modelling, customer analytics, and automation.

Along with Duncan Stoddard, Principal Data Scientist at Scribd, a Bayesian expert with over 15 years’ experience supporting major clients like IKEA, the NHS, and BBC. Expect a lively discussion packed with insights from both sides of the modelling spectrum!

Now, refreshments! Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6pm. Talks will commence at 6:30pm/6:45pm and the event will conclude at 8:30pm. The conversation will continue after the event at a local pub TBC – obviously!

If you didn't already have a million reasons to come, there will be (free!) R Merchandise kindly sent by Posit themselves.
