What we’re about
We're Bristol's largest and most inclusive social group for vegetarians and vegans! The group began life with a focus on sampling the finest vegetarian and vegan cuisine that Bristol and the surrounding areas have to offer. Since then we've diversified to also offer guided walks and assorted social events, including Bristol's only regular vegetarian & vegan board gaming evenings!
Everyone is welcome at our events, including those who are not vegetarian, but we ask that everyone engages with the spirit of our events and remains respectful to our vegetarian and vegan members. This is a group for meeting like minded individuals, but it's not a platform for imposing like-mindedness upon others. We're a group of friendly individuals interested in participating in a variety of different activities as part of an inclusive vegetarian and vegan community in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
New members are welcome at all events. If you're vegetarian, vegan, or if you just get along with vegetarians and vegans, why not join us and come along to an event or two?
Best wishes,
Claire - Organiser

.....About our regular monthly events: Bristol Vegan Drinks
Bristol Vegan Drinks is a monthly event that takes place once a month on the 12th. If you are planning ahead, 2025 events will be held on the 11th of the month.
The event is very informal and is essentially just a time and place for like-minded people to meet each month. Anyone interested in veganism, or vegetarianism is welcome. Most people turn up solo, so it's great to get to know new people.
The rules are simple:
📍The event will always be at a location that serves vegan drinks and usually some vegan food (if not fully vegan). If you choose to eat, please only consume vegan food at the event out of respect for others.
The event will always be in a location that is easily reachable from the city centre.
Everyone is welcome, but non-vegans should expect veganism to be a topic of conversation, and this should be respected by all.
🍻🍔Alcohol and food consumption is entirely optional but expect both to be consumed by others. Remember this is a drinks and social event first and foremost, the food is a bonus so please don't be too critical of this aspect.
🌡Am sure it goes without saying, please do not come if you feel unwell out of courtesy for others.
We encourage feedback on any aspect from anyone who has anything to say or ask, please contact your host Jules in this instance. We run this event to provide a platform for vegans new and old to socialise in Bristol. We welcome anyone that wants to get involved or has a suggestion. Send one of the admins a private message if you have a special request and we will do our best to accommodate this. For example if you want to talk beforehand due to social anxiety or you want to attend but the venue lacks disabled access - we want to hear from you. We want the events to be as inclusive as possible. Likewise if you have feedback from any event, or any concerns, please raise them with Jules.
⏰During the first hour of the event, your hosts will make extra sure they introduce you to other group members (if you wish), so if you're a bit shy or unsure, we'd encourage you to attend early on, to help us facilitate this. However, this is a friendly group and hopefully everyone will make you feel welcome at whatever point you turn up! The events are usually a good mix of regulars and new people. We hope to see you there!
Most people attend this solo, so it's a great opportunity to meet new people.
