Croyde Bay swimming, surfing and walking weekend

Details
A fun weekend in beautiful Croyde Bay, North Devon.
Croyde Bay is famous for golden sands, sand dunes and a world class beach break. Reliable low tide A-frame barrels make it ideal for body / SUP boarding and surfing. Check latest Croyde surf reports.
During peak season they setup volleyball nets on the beach which are free to use. The Croyde Burrows area of the Ruda site is in the sand dunes on the beach.
You can walk from Croyde Bay to Croyde village in 20 minutes. The village is full of thatched cottages, surf shops, pubs and restaurants. It even has a deck chair cinema.
Some of us are staying at Ruda Holiday Park which has an indoor pool with flumes and rapids, a supermarket, surf shops (that hire wetsuits and boards), bars, cafes, a fish and chip shop, a restaurant and a large family entertainment centre. The park has caravans, lodges and camping pitches. Croyde Village and Croyde Bay have lots of camp sites, B&Bs, holiday homes and apartments.
Everyone is welcome whether you are camping or just coming down for the day.
For SatNavs use Croyde Bay, North Devon. The postcode of the park will take you down a narrow road to Putsborough.
This event is being hosted across multiple Meetup groups.
All activities will be posted in the comments. Jon's number is 07757 957 530.
