About Us
Welcome to Broadly Speaking, a Toastmasters club founded in 2010 (originally as a corporate chapter) that is now open to the public. We’re a diverse group of professionals, learners, and leaders committed to improving communication, public speaking, and leadership skills in a warm, supportive environment.

What We Do
We meet every Friday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time, currently online (contact us for joining details).
At our meetings, you’ll get to:
- Deliver prepared speeches and impromptu “table topics”
- Give and receive constructive feedback
- Take on meeting roles (e.g. Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Timer)
- Practice leadership skills in a safe, structured format
- Grow at your own pace through the Toastmasters Pathways education program
Who Should Join
Whether you’re a newcomer who fears public speaking, a professional wanting to polish your presentation skills, an executive seeking leadership growth, or simply someone who wants to become a more confident communicator — there’s a place for you here. We value supportive, constructive feedback and growth through practice.
Why It Works
Toastmasters combines experiential learning (actual speaking) with structured evaluation and a flexible pacing model. It’s not a lecture class — it’s hands-on, member driven, and goal oriented. Members often talk about transformational personal growth, new confidence, and even career advancement after engaging consistently.

How to Join as a Guest
It’s easy — just show up (virtually) to our next meeting as a guest. Contact us ahead of time so we can send you the login/link and help you get settled. We’d love for you to experience a session first before deciding whether you want to become a member.
