What we’re about

We promote good times and community through cycling activities. Meet new people and explore Toronto with an inclusive, have-fun oriented cycling group. Scenic rides, foodie rides, longer adventures and joining events produced by other fabulous Toronto cycling groups - it's all about fun on two wheels!

Please follow our rules:
1.   Be kind. Welcome and encourage other riders. Insults, shaming, and hate will be removed, and offenders will be banned.
2.   Your safety is your responsibility. Helmets are required. Lights are required if riding in darkness. It is each rider’s responsibility to ensure their bike is clean, well-maintained, and fully functional.
3.   All bikes are welcome. Occasional Brompton-only events will be clearly labeled. Contact your local Brompton dealer if you'd like to borrow a Brompton for an event (participation may vary).
4.   If your plans change, please update your RSVP.

We are more than a bike group. We are a family that supports each other. Our values:
-   We are a community - We are united by our passion. We use our collective effort to make the world better, brighter, more colorful and fun.
-   We take pride - We are committed to making a positive impact on the world.
-   We are human - Being ourselves creates magic.
-   We are curious - Inspiration is everywhere. We explore our city and world.
-   We bring energy - Positivity energy spreads our movement. We bring others along on the journey.

    Cycling Good Cheer

Raccoon Park, 86 Soudan Ave, Toronto, ON, CA

Ho ho hold on, it's time for Toronto Community Bicycle Coalition's 6th annual Cycling Good Cheer bicycle parade!

Back in 2020 when the Santa Claus parade was cancelled, a merry band of volunteers from
Toronto Community Bikeways Coalition decided we needed to cheer up the kids along Yonge Street! From the North Pole aka North York to the Lake, it was a joy! It really was such a delight (albeit cold that December) to see kids' faces light up and adults happy to see grown adults dressed up as Santa, elves, and of course reindeer!

6 years later, it is our favourite event of the year!

This year families are coming from all parts of the city - The Grinch is leading a group from Scarborough, elves from North York, The Bicycle Mayor of Toronto from the St. Lawrence Market, and Ruby the Red-Nosed Reindeer is trotting the west end families from High Park, as it's a great grazing spot for reindeer!

We will meet at Raccoon Park, 86 Soudan Ave (Yonge/Eglinton), to begin our bicycle parade with bells ringing and a festive playlist south on Yonge all the way to Raccoon Terrace Picnic Area in Biidaasige Park.

PLUS a Community Picnic! We will provide coffee & cookies, courtesy of PEDAAL, plus we'll endeavour to make s'mores in the provided bbqs and of course the playground is a great spot for kids to play!

The Raccoon to Raccoon Route is 10km and if cookies are not enough, we encourage participants to bring your own picnic &/or shareables.

The parade is free and fun and for families.
