Friday Oct 6 Update: We've made the tough call to move Bromptoberfest to Sunday. Two factors led to this decision:

  1. Safety: The forecast precipitation and chance of thunderstorms for Saturday mean less visibility for drivers and a higher chance of slips or flat tires within the group.
  2. Venue: Max Bratwurst doesn’t have covered outdoor seating and we can’t fit a large group inside with their regulars.

We know this means some of you can’t make it but I think you’ll agree it’s the right call for the group. If you cannot attend, please change your RSVP to "Not Going."

Sunday's forecast is sunny, high 62F, low 50F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. So, please dress for fall riding. All event details remain the same, just 1 day later. We hope to see you there!

We're continuing the US leg of the One Millionth Brompton Tour at Bromptoberfest! This is a longstanding tradition in the Brompton community that we're excited to support on the road.

Do you want to join the riding portion of Bromptoberfest but can’t stay for the restaurant portion? No problem, please RSVP for this event and join us for the morning of riding the city.

Meet us at 10 am sharp at Central Park West near The Maine Monument. Location is where Central Park South and West intersect at Columbus Circle.

There are currently two routes planned for the ride - a relaxed route and an advanced route.

Option 1: The relaxed route is approximately 17 miles and will take us through the boroughs of Manhattan, The Bronx, and Queens. This route is recommended for those whom want to socialize a little more and take in the adventures along the way. Our group will depart first and arrive to the venue before our advanced group. You can view the route here.

Option 2: The advanced route will cover 2 bridges including the Manhattan Bridge and Kosciuszko bridge. This route was altered to reflect NYCDOT construction over the Brooklyn Bridge. This will require slightly high elevation. This route takes riders on a journey through Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. You can view the route here.

To attend for the full event - including $30 entry covering 0.5L beer & food, mug holding contest, and Brompton “Fold off” contest, please RSVP to this event.

Need a Brompton to ride?
We have a supply of 10 Bromptons for ride during Bromptoberfest! Please reserve your bike here. Note, you have to be registered for Bromptoberfest first before reserving a bike.
